In “The Library of Babel” Jorge Luis Borges uses the imagery of a library to make an argument about the use and function of books. Because Borges’s observations – and his visual associations – will be so salient later to our reading of House of Leaves, explore the implications here!
For this blog create a visual that expresses how you imagine Borges’s library of Babel, with the intention of depicting Borges’s major points. The visual could be any medium but must be able to appear on your website. Write a short blurb (1 paragraph) to accompany the visual in which you include at least one quote from Borges’s work to give a sense about your inspiration.
